Rumours on Vishal's Chakra skipping a theatrical release go viral on social media; More details inside

Due to the current situation of a deadly pandemic, some of the filmmakers are postponing their movie releases whereas the others are avoiding theatrical releases and opting digital releases. Though star heroines like Jyothika, Keerthy Suresh have released their 'Ponmagal Vandaal' and 'Penguin' movies directly on the OTT platforms, no star hero has released his film yet. But, as per the latest reports, Vishal is going to be the first one to go for a digital release. Vishal has reportedly approached OTT platforms to sell the rights of his next outing titled ‘Chakra’. It seems like the actor is ready to sell the rights for any digital platform if the offered price is good.

So, the makers have already kickstarted the promotional activities of this movie. Touted to be an action thriller, Vishal is bankrolling this project. But, as per the reports from Kollywood film nagar, the sources close to the production house refuted these rumours. The makers are currently eyeing on a grand release of the film in theatres alone.
