Composer S Thaman took to Twitter to share an update regarding Thala Ajith's upcoming film Valimai. The film marks the reunion of successful combination director H Vinoth, producer Boney Kapoor and actor Ajith. Recently, Thaman share a photo with the makers of Vakeel Saab. A Twitter user asked Valimai update to Thaman. To which, he replied, "I heard my brother darling @thisisysr #kikichified one song for our #thala in #valimai it will be surely worth a wait for our #thala for sure (sic)." Yuvan Shankar Raja revealed that Ajith's introduction song will be a folk number with lyrics written by Vignesh Shivan.
Ajith asked everyone to be patient in a statement and wrote, "Greetings to my fans and people who have always shown love to me and my films. In the last few days, few people claiming to be my fans have been asking for Valimai update in cricket stadiums, political events and other public venues, I am deeply disappointed with this behaviour. As announced earlier updates about the film will come when the time is right. I am in talks with the producers to announce the updates. Please be patient until then. Cinema is entertainment for you, but it’s a profession for me. I request my fans to be patient and conduct themselves decently in public domain. I hope people who love me will behave accordingly."
