“Within a few months of meeting Pooja, I knew she was the one,” singer-composer Sachin Warrier said. And one day over the phone, he asked her, ‘You know where this is headed, right?’ And Pooja said, ‘Yes!’ “During this time, her family was considering proposals, and I too was ready to get married and settled. So, there was no time to waste (laughs). I told her we would speak in detail in person and when we did, I asked why not tell our families about this. We soon did and got married,” Sachin remembered.
About their most romantic memory, Sachin said, “Once, I happened to make Pooja her favorite dessert, Turkish Delight. I figured out the recipe online and did it, and I guess that’s our most romantic memory together, so far.” On V Day this year, he is performing at a college in Kottayam. “So, we will be on a road trip date, checking out restaurants,” he revealed.
The couple got married on June 13, 2019. They held a grand function at Thrissur. Celebs from the industry were also seen at the wedding. Samyukta Verma, Rajisha Vijayan, Vishak, director Ganesh Raj among others attended. Sachin made his debut as a playback singer while in college in the 2010 film 'Malarvaadi Arts Club.’ He later took up an IT job at Tata Consultancy Services during which he sang for movies. These included Thattathin Marayathu, Neram, Left Right Left, Philips, and the Monkey Pen, and Bangalore Days among others. Pooja is a resident intern at Government Medical College, Thrissur. Now Sachin has quit his job to focus solely on music.
