India has nabbed four nominations at the 2019 International Emmy Awards, thanks to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Netflix's India Original series Sacred Games, anthology film Lust Stories and Amazon Prime Video's The Remix are nominated for International Emmy Awards.
While Sacred Games has been nominated for best drama, Lust Stories has been nominated in 'TV movie/Mini-Series' category. Moreover, Radhika Apte
has been nominated in the 'Best Performance by an Actress' category for her role in Lust Stories.
The second season of Sacred Games has been nominated in the best drama category alongside Brazil's Contra Todos - season three, Germany's Bad Banks and UK's McMafia. Amazon Prime’s The Remix-India has been nominated for the International Emmy for Non-Scripted Entertainment.
Sacred Games directors Anurag Kashyap, Neeraj Ghaywan and Vikramaditya Motwane, The Remix host Karan Tacker and Radhika Apte expressed their happiness on social media over the nominations.
