Remixing old songs has become a trend in Indian cinema. The culture is more prevalent in Bollywood. There are quite a few songs in Telugu as well, which got remixed from the old classics. Sai Dharam Tej used to frequently remix his uncle Megastar Chiranjeevi's old songs. But we now hear that he has decided to stop it.
Sai Dharam Tej has earlier used many of Chiranjeevi's songs in his films. His debut film Rey featured the Megastar Chiranjeevi version of Golimaar. He then used the remix version of Guvva Gorinka in Subrahmanyam for Sale, Andam Hindolam in Supreme and Chamak Chamaku Cham in Intelligent. Apart from Guvva Gorinka and Andam Hindolam, the rest of the remix versions didn't attract the audiences. Moreover, the viewers are not caring if it is a remix or original song these days. They are appreciating it if it has good musical values and nothing else. Thus, there is no point in remixing songs without any purpose. Thus, Sai Dharam Tej decided not to do it anymore, says the sources.
The actor's last two films, Chitralahari and Prathi Roju Pandaage didn't feature any remix songs in their albums. We hear that there are no remix songs in his next film Solo Brathuke So Better as well. Solo Brathuke So Better is being directed by Subbu. Nabha Natesh is playing the female lead in it. It will hit the screens by the end of this summer. He has also signed another film in the direction of Deva Katta. Nivetha Pethuraj is playing the female lead in this film.
