“I am very proud of Sara. Hits and misses are a part of the game.” said father Saif Ali Khan when asked about what he thought about the failure of Love Aaj Kal helmed and produced by Imtiaz Ali. The film was hyped like no tomorrow. It became one of the most anticipated in Bollywood. Upon its release, it failed to live up to its hype. The response from the audience and critics alike were bad. Following this Saif opened up about this failure talking about the film and his daughter Sara Ali Khan.

 
He said he was very proud of his 24-year-old daughter. He also talked about if the father-daughter duo ever got to work together on the big screen. He said, “I would love to but it will have to be a very special script. I think both of us would like to avoid gimmicks. I am sure given the right director and script it can be great. I always make a very clear distinction between my family and career. They are both separate.”
 
He continued, I never think that I should work with my wife (Kareena Kapoor Khan) or my mother (Sharmila Tagore). In the future as well, I would like to maintain that,”.
 
Saif recently finished working on Jawaani Jaaneman. It released in January and received amazing reviews. It got a 7.4 on IMDb. The director is Nitin Kakkar. It also stars Tabu and Alaia F. Tanhaji by Om Raut also released in January starring Saif, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and many others. He will also appear in Dil Bechara by Mukesh Chhabra. It is set to release in May. It is a Bollywood remake of The Fault in our Stars. He will also star in the second part of Bunty and Babli by Varun V. Sharma.
