Saif Ali Khan will also sport a Rajputana look in the upcoming film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior

While the look released prior has considered an ode to Game of Thrones, we have a new look coming soon. Apparently, Saif will also sport a look that is in contrast to the dark character.

The costume designer of the film Nachiket Barve said, “As Uday Bhan, Saif plays the role of a Rajput who eventually represents the Mughals. The idea for his Mughal appearance was to make him look menacing, which is in stark contrast with his Rajputana look that has him flaunting colorful attire.”

Nachiket continued, “He will also be seen wearing the Rajasthani textiles, and as the character grows, the dark elements creep in, where we introduce the velvet brocades to his wardrobe. We also introduce outfits boasting a hundred shades of grey. Saif’s character is very interesting as it is a cross-pollination of two cultures.”

Describing Saif’s look in the poster, the designer says, “In the picture, Saif had seen with a tooled leather armor recreated using ancient historical techniques like the hand-punching method. His wardrobe boasts of textiles inspired by the time, and the whole look is enhanced with the dark styling.”
