Saint Mother Teresa’s biopic to shine on the silver screen
Nobel Laureate Mother Teresa's biopic is on its way with Hollywood and Bollywood stars as the special attraction. In a press release, the makers have made an announcement that the movie will be helmed and written by Seema Upadhyay.
Bankrolled by Pradeep Sharma, Nitin Manmohan, Girish Johar, and Prachi Manmohan, the team sought the blessing of Sister Prema Mary Pierick and Sister Lynne, Superior General of the Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata before starting the project. Director Seema stated that visiting the missionaries and meeting the sisters was an exceptional experience.
“We sought their divine guidance and blessings for the success of the film. Hope we will do justice and will be able to spread the message for peace, love, and humanity that Mother Teresa stood for, and ensure that all the corners of her life are framed,” stated the team.
Movies like 'Mother Teresa of Calcutta’, ‘Mother Teresa in the name of God's Poor' and 'The Letters', an American drama have already impressed the audiences which showed the life of the saint.
