Saira Banu gives Dilip Kumar's health update, says he will be discharged soon

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, 98, was admitted to the hospital after he complained of having breathing issues. Since then, there has been speculation regarding his health and fans are praying for his speedy recovery. Giving the health update about her husband, Saira Banu released a statement revealing that Dilip Kumar is stable and will be discharged soon.

"Past few days my beloved husband, Yousuf Khan, has been unwell and recuperating at a hospital in Mumbai. Through this note, I want to thank all of you for keeping him in your prayers and for all the love and affection," she began the statement adding, "My husband, my Kohinoor, our Dilip Kumar Sahab's health is stable and doctors have assured me that he should be discharged soon."

Saira further wrote in the statement and urged everyone to not believe in any kind of rumour that surfaces on the internet. "I urge you to not believe in rumors. While I ask you to pray for Sahab's health, I am praying that the Almighty keep all of you safe and healthy during this pandemic," she concluded. Dilip Kumar is admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital and was put on oxygen support over there. "Dilip Saab is on oxygen support - not on ventilator. He is stable. Waiting for few test results to perform pleural aspiration," a tweet from the official handle of the actor earlier stated.
