Salaam Venky: Kajol Can't Keep Calm As She Reunites On Film With Kamal Sadanah After 30 Years

What happens if you run into old pals again after 30 years? You experience delight at that very instant. When Kajol, the popular Bollywood actress, first met Kamal Sadanah on the Salaam Venky set, this is what occurred. For those who don't know, Kajol made her acting debut in the 1992 movie Bekhudi, which also starred Sadanah.

Kajol and Kamal Sadanah will reunite in filmmaker Revathi's movie Salaam Venky after 30 years apart. Kajol can be heard saying to Revathy in a viral video “Oh my god, you didn’t tell me. I am so happy. This is amazing”, as she is seen passionately clutching Kamal. The Salaam Venky trailer was recently released. Revathy said, “I didn’t tell Kajol about Kamal playing a part in the film. There’s a very important scene between the two of them. It was a big surprise for her.” Kamal Sadanah also spoke about how he felt after working with Kajol. Indian Express quoted him as saying, “Shooting with Kajol again made me think that I was on the sets of Bekhudi. She still speaks non-stop and I had to pick my chair up and move to the other side (laughs). But it has been great fun.” Kajol also spoke at the event and told the media, “First five to ten minutes, I didn’t say anything. I kept screaming. It was just really nice. We’ve met in between and we know of each other’s whereabouts and everything that’s happening in our lives. But it was lovely working with him again.” Aamir Khan plays a significant part in Salaam Venky as well. The film is scheduled to debut on December 9, 2022.
