Salaar’s Release Date Locked For KGF 2, Stunning New Poster Out Now
Prabhas’s Salaar which was announced for theatrical release on 14th April 2022 might get postponed to a later date as KGF 2 has locked its release date. The makers of KGF 2 have announced that the film will be out on 14th April 2022.
Hombale Films, which are funding Prabhas’s Salaar and KGF 2 have allocated the former’s release date to the latter. Salaar, which was announced for theatrical release on 14th April 2022 might be postponed to a later date as KGF 2 has locked the same.
“The uncertainties of today will only delay our resolve, but the eventuality is as promised. We will be out in theatres on April 14th 2022. #KGF2onApr14,” the statement from Hombale films read. Also, the maker unveiled a stunning new poster to announce the new release date.
In a way, the horrendous box office performance of Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom seems to have propelled the makers of KGF 2 to postpone the release date. The Akshay Kumar starrer is struggling to even collect Rs 10 crores, given the restrained theatrical revenues from the Northern India circuit. This is a major red signal to forthcoming pan-India biggies.
After assessing the situation, the makers of KGF 2 locked Salaar’s release date - 14th April 2022. It is heard that the new release date of Salaar will be announced tomorrow. The makers are apparently planning to unveil a new poster of the film with the new release date imprinted on it.
