Salman Khan’s Radhe’s release pushed to 2021 after shoot postponement?

Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai has had its fair share of delays and postponements. The film was initially scheduled for an Eid 2020 release. The release was then postponed when the coronavirus pandemic broke out. Sources previously said that Salman and Disha Patani would gear up to finish the last leg of shooting in a studio in Mumbai to ensure a Diwali 2020 release. However, with a sharp surge in the number of coronavirus cases, it looks like the film will have a 2021 release.

Some reports previously said that Salman, after a discussion with his co-producers Sohail Khan, Atul Agnihotri, and Nikhil Namit, put off the idea of an October-end shoot. Reports say Bhai did not want to put his team at risk as reports say coronavirus is airborne. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai still has 10 days' worth of shooting pending. Sources now say that the team might finish shooting after October-end. The cast and crew have a song and some outdoor location shoots in store. Reports say the film will have a festive release in 2021.

A source stated, “Salman's first priority is the safety of his team members. The makers are now eyeing a 2021 festival release; by then, the theaters will have also reopened.” “He felt that filming indoors could pose a risk to the health of the cast and crew. On the other hand, an outdoor shoot was not feasible in the monsoon. So, he has decided to hold off the stint till October-end, post which the unit will film the remaining portions — including a song — at outdoor locations," added the source.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan also has Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Kick 2, and Sher Khan under his belt.
