The two upcoming Salman Khan films, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3, have switched release schedules. This is how the seismic shift occurred. A close friend of Salman informs, “Salman personally requested (producer) Aditya Chopra to vacate the Eid slot for Salman’s home production Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Aditya had finalised the Eid slot for his Tiger 3. But Salman convinced Aditya that the Eid slot is traditionally occupied by Salman’s home productions.”
Tiger 3 is presently in the Diwali slot. It's unexpected that Chopra agreed to Khan's request. The Yash Raj scion is not known for caving into celebrity fancies. But Salman Khan has always gotten special attention at Yash Raj.
While other A-listers willingly work for Yash Raj at a reduced cost, Salman requested and received his full pay for Ek Tha Tiger, his debut film for the company. He had previously turned down everything Yash Raj had given him, including Chak De India, which Shah Rukh accepted.
Surprisingly, Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali had a falling out over Inshallah, mostly because Salman wanted Inshallah to be moved from the Eid window to accommodate his home production.
