Salman Khan's upcoming film Sher Khan had been officially postponed

The buzz about Salman Khan's next film Sher Khan has kept everyone ears wide open. The actor's brother Sohail Khan will be directing the film. Sources say that Tarzan has inspired the film.

According to reports, the cast and crew were to begin shooting in 2020. However, owing to the coronavirus, this is not possible now. Additionally, Salman is also working on Sajid Nadiadwala's upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

A source revealed, “It’s really very simple. Bhai is not completely happy with the script. Sohail has gone back to the storyboard at least three times. But Bhai is still not satisfied. Salman wants Sher Khan to be a game-changer in the action genre.” Seems like we will have to wait a little longer for the film to kick-start filming. According to sources Sohail has also agreed to push the film. “Sohail is okay with re-working the Sher Khan script as many times as required. He too wants Sher Khan to be a landmark in the action genre and in Salman’s career. Salman was supposed to start Sher Khan this year. But has now allotted those dates to his friend Sajid Nadiadwala for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali," says the source.

Meanwhile, Salman is waiting for the film shoot for Kabhi Eid Kabhu Diwali to resume after the coronavirus outbreak subsides. Sajid Nadiadwala is bankrolling the film. Farhad Samji is directing the film. Actor Aayush Sharma will also appear in a pivotal role. The film was to begin shooting in August 2020, however, the shoot is currently on hold. The film will resume shooting after the coronavirus outbreak subsides. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will hit theatres on the occasion of Eid in 2021.
