Samantha Akkeneni has wrapped up shooting her debut Hindi web series ‘The Family Man 2’. Her co-star and directors have left lovely appreciative comments on her post regarding the same.
The South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni has had a splendid year with three back to back hits. Now she’s all geared to debut in the Hindi film fraternity. She has wrapped up shooting for the upcoming Amazon Prime Original ‘Family Man 2’. This would also be her first in the digital series platform. It is Raj and DK who collaborated to direct this project. Her co-star in this series is one of the most talented and sought out Bollywood actors, Manoj Bajpayee. He has been part of the first season of the series as well.
Manoj has recently displayed his appreciation for Sam and her amazing work, in the comments of her instagram post. His comment read “You are fantastic @samantharuthprabhuoffl and so amazing to know you and work with you!!." The directors took to Instagram to praise the actress’s hard work as well. The post went on to say “It’s been amazing working with you Samantha! Loved seeing you transform every time we called Action! You’re one of the most talented actors around today! This role was way out of your comfort zone and you slew it!!”
As she finished the shooting schedule for the series, the actress wrote a heartfelt post on her Instagram profile. She expressed "Every day on the sets of season 2 of The Family Man has been unforgettable.. To be given the opportunity and the trust to play a role so completely different from anything I have ever done before ... Thankyou @rajanddk you know I love ya... It feels like just yesterday when I locked myself in a dark room and promised to discover ‘her’ world as genuinely as I could .. And today on the last day of the shoot I can proudly say. I definitely didn’t eff it up .." The fans are eagerly awaiting to see this new role played by their homegirl.
