Samantha unveils first song from Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi

Samantha Akkineni is known for speaking her mind out. She unveiled the first song from Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi in all three languages. On April 2, she took to Twitter to release the first song titled Mazhai Mazhai. The song is titled Ilaa Ilaa in Telugu and Chali Chali in Telugu. Sharing the link to the songs, Samantha wrote, "Amma's unmatched grace and her stunning screen presence is known to all. Witness her fanfare from Cinema to CM. #ChaliChali #MazhaiMazhai #IlaaIlaa out! (sic)." In the past, Samantha is known for appreciating Kangana Ranaut's performances.

Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter to thank Samantha for launching the first song from Thalaivi. She wrote, "Thank you my dear @Samanthaprabhu2 for being so gracious... You are the epitome of woman empowerment, we need to empower each other and that’s real feminism. Thank you (sic)." Thalaivi, directed by AL Vijay, is a biopic based on the life of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The film is all set to hit the theatres in a couple of months. While Kangana Ranaut plays J Jayalalithaa, Arvind Swamy will play MG Ramachandran aka MGR.
