Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who wowed audiences with her blazing hot 'Oo Antava' number in 'Pushpa: The Rise,' is said to be back with another sizzler in 'Yashoda.'
According to insiders, the song’s shooting is progressing on elaborately created sets in Hyderabad. The song is said to be more attention-grabbing than 'Oo Antava,' in which Samantha wowed the audience. The makers, it is known, will make an official announcement soon.
Unni Mukundan, a young and talented Malayalam actor, is also in the multilingual 'Yashoda,' a sci-fi thriller produced by Krishna Prasad Valenka's Sridevi Movies label. The film is written and directed by the duo Hari–Harish. It is shot in both Telugu and Tamil at the same time. Samantha plays the title character in the film.
The film's principal photography began in December 2021. Mani Sharma created the film music, and M Sukumar and Marthand K Venkatesh handled cinematography and editing, respectively. It will release in theatres on August 12, 2022.
The film stars Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, and Priyanka Sharma.
Samantha received widespread appreciation for her remarkable performance in Raj and DK's Hindi OTT series 'The Family Man 2,' starring Manoj Bajpayee. She is strengthening her fan base with 'Yashoda.'
