Sanjay Dutt, upcoming movie Prasthanam, made by Maanayata's wife, also starring Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala as well. This movie is the official remake of the same-tilted 2010 Telugu film, Prasthanam. Farhad Samji who wrote the Hindi version, claims that giving the story a new twist is a little bit difficult.
The original movie is about cults, but it is launched nine years earlier. Everything is upgrading with the moment, so making it appealing for today's crowd is crucial for us. Though, the central premise and personalities stayed the same, says Farhad, who co-wrote with brother Sajid, of Simmba, Singham and Golmaal franchise.
Farhad, who's now separately writing and directing, thinks that having qualified and experienced performers on the board is an ace for the scriptwriter. He smiled and said that since the Munnabhai days, he has been with Sanjay Dutt and after 19 years, life has come into a complete circle.
Keep poking him about what it was like to even get Sanjay and Manisha back forward a lifetime after Mehbooba. He also zingers that he had grown up watching these two wonderful actors, but you'll see them in this movie as personalities, not as actors.
In their linkage, there has been friction, and the tale is about how they resolve it. We generally categorize personalities as hero, heroine, villain, and comedian, but Prasthanam, in some respects everybody is linked.
He also explained that this is the relationship sophistication is what prevents us attached. In comparison with Singham and Simmba, which are the embodiment of 'commercial' writing as per the medium.
