Sanya Malhotra proved her acting talent in Aamir Khan's Dangal. She then went on to be part of critically-acclaimed films like Badhaai Ho, Shakuntala Devi, and several other films. She has now signed a new film. She will be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao in the Hindi remake of the Telugu superhit film, HIT (Homicide Intervention Team). The film will be directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolani, who had also directed the Telugu original film. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to go on floors sometime soon. Sanya took to social media to talk about her upcoming film.
In a statement, she spoke about being a part of the film. She said, "I have watched HIT and I really liked the concept of the film. When the film was offered to me, I immediately said yes. It is a very interesting and intriguing story that deserves a mass audience. I am looking forward to this one and excited to work with Rajkummar Rao." Telugu film HIT featured Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles. The Telugu film is expected to get a sequel as well.So happy to joint the #HIT team!
