Karthi's new spy thriller "Sardar" has emerged triumphant among the Diwali films. Critics gave it mixed reviews, complimenting the actor's performances, narrative, and action sequences. It was released in Tamil and Telugu on October 21st.
Sardar grossed 50 crores globally on its fifth day, and the creators have announced a sequel to the film due to its popularity. P.S. Mithran directed and wrote it, while S. Lakshman Kumar produced it under the label Prince Pictures. Sardar's firm was valued at Rs 5.50 crores, and it recovered the 5.88 crores shares in six days in two Telugu states. It is currently the 15th clean-hit Telugu film of the year.
From advance sales for day 7, it has sold tickets worth Rs 50.85 lakhs. Around 35L came in from Tamil, while around 15L came from Telugu.
According to trade estimates, it would collect roughly Rs 2 crores on Thursday, bringing Sardar's total first-week domestic collections are more than Rs 38 crores. It had an overall Tamil occupancy percentage of 14.50% throughout all shows, including morning, lunch, evening, and night concerts.
