Friday morning brought more tragic news to the Bollywood fraternity. Dancer and choreographer Saroj Khan
padded away on Thursday night due to a cardiac arrest. She was admitted to the Guru Nanak Hospital in Mumbai. Earlier Saroj Khan also complained of breathing issues. Saroj Khan's daughter Sukaina Khan revealed that they have buried Saroj Khan's body in the Malad region. Sukaina wrote on Twitter, "We buried her at around 7 am. The prayer meeting will be held after three days."
The family also announced a prayer meeting in honor of Saroj Khan. However, in her latest tweet, Sukaina Khan has revealed that they have postponed the prayer meeting. She wrote, "Thank you for all your messages and for keeping Mummy in your prayers. Given the current COVID-19 situation, there will be no prayer meeting. Whenever the situation improves, we will meet and celebrate the life of Saroj Khan."
Saroj Khan was credited to have choreographed the song "Tabaah Hogaye" for Madhuri Dixit in 2019's "Kalank." Madhuri Dixit
also shared a post for her teacher and friend. She wrote, "I'm devastated by the loss of my friend and guru, Saroj Khan. Will always be grateful for her work in helping me reach my full potential in dance. The world has lost an amazingly talented person. I will miss you. My sincere condolences to the family. #RIPSarojji."
