Seetimaarr movie to get a new release date

Seetimaarr starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Gopichand was initially slated for a theatrical release on April 2nd. The latest update is that the makers have rescheduled the release date to a later date. Citing a delay in post-production, the makers have promised to announce a new release date soon.

"Due to delay in post-production works and to give a better experience to the Audiences, our #Seetimaarr release is pushed from April 2nd, 2021. We shall announce the new date at the earliest and we promise that the delay is all that worth," read the announcement from the makers.

Directed by Sampath Nandi, Seetimaarr has music by Mani Sharma. Srinivasa Chitturi is bankrolling the film. Apart from Tamannaah and Gopichand, the film also stars Digangana Suryavanshi, Bhumika Chawal and more.

The makers have been promoting the film with timely updates and fun chart-topping songs. There is a strong buzz around the film. The news of a new release date might be a let down for the fans but might be a blessing in disguise.

Earlier, Seetimaarr was one of three major films releasing on April 2nd. Nagarjuna's Wild Dog and Karthi's Sultan are also slated for a release on April 2nd. The three biggies were gearing up for a battle at the box office. Now, the Seetimaarr has dropped out of the race. A later date might just turn out to be a good thing for the makers

On the work front, Gopichand was last in the 2019 film Chanakya. He has Maruthi's Pakka Commerical in his kitty. Tamannaah has a list of upcoming films. Tamannaah and Nithiin are all set to star in the Telugu remake of Andhadhun. Tamannah will also appear in the Telugu remake of the Bollywood hit film Queen. She also has the Bollywood film Bole Chudiyan and Gurthunda Seethakalam in her kitty.
