Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marapathillai to release on March 5

Director Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marapathillai, which has been lying on the shelves for over four years, will finally hit the theatres on March 5. A month after theatrical release, Nenjam Marapathillai will release on an OTT platform. On February 8, Nenjam Marapathillai's release date was announced by the makers. Director Selvaraghavan announced the release date and thanked the fans for waiting patiently with bates breath. He wrote, "Thank you all for your patience. From March 5 - in THEATRES (sic," and tagged the entire cast and crew.

Nenjam Marapathillai features SJ Suryah, Regina Cassandra and Nandita Swetha in the lead roles. SJ Suryah was overjoyed in announcing the news. He wrote, "I believed in one thing that god has the right plan for this movie. thank you, god, my mom, my dad ... thx to @Rockfortent, @Madan2791 sir & thx to @selvaraghavan sir's, @thisissysr 's fans and my fans too for showing, giving the unshakeable love and support sjs (sic)." Nenjam Marapathillai was stuck due to financial issues for four years. Despite announcing release date several times, the film couldn't get past the hurdles to release in theatres.
