While Shah Rukh Khan, Pathaan, and the superstar's life piqued fans' interest, one of them appeared to be a Salman Khan fan. He couldn't help but compare the success of the two Khans. One of Salman's supporters inquired during the #AskSRK session,

Shah Rukh Khan supporters who were offended by this social media user's remark couldn't stop making fun of it. “Le faila di negativity ja dekh reply aur khush raho! (See spreading negativity again… go and see the reply.. now are you happy),” one of the fans said. Another one asked, “Bhai kuch v sawal krte ho yaar… Salman v agar yeh tweet dekhega na to tujhe gaali dega (Bro, don’t ask nonsensical questions… if Salman sees this tweet, he will abuse you instead).” One fan remarked, “Karwali beizatti (done with getting insulted)?” Speaking of Pathaan, the movie featured Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham film. It was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on January 25. Within two days of its global release, the movie surpassed the 200 cr. rupees milestone.
