Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan's latest film, has become one of his biggest hits. In the first 12 days of its release, the Siddharth Anand film grossed 429.9 crores at the domestic box office. According to the production company, Yash Raj Films, the film has grossed $832.20 crore globally. Shah Rukh Khan has now taken to Instagram to thank his followers, posting a sunkissed photo.
Pathaan has grossed 319 crores in overseas territories alone since its premiere on January 25. The film's cast and crew recently toasted the film's box office triumph with a press conference in Mumbai. They complimented one other's efforts and discussed memorable scenes from the film. One of Deepika's action sequences in Pathaan was dubbed "the sexiest battle scene" by Shah Rukh.
Shah Rukh Khan has now released a post on Instagram thanking his fans and moviegoers for their overwhelming support for the film. He shared a selfie in which he is wearing a white tee and the sun is shining on his face from the other side. In his caption, he wrote,
Pathaan marked Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen after a four-year absence. He was featured most recently in Anand L Rai's Zero (2018), which starred Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma and was a box office flop.
