Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan Receives A UA Certificate From CBFC; Runtime Revealed

Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, is scheduled to hit theatres on January 25, 2023. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted the movie a U/A certificate of clearance. The spy thriller has a running time of 146 minutes (2 hours 26 minutes 16 seconds).

On January 20, advance booking for the Shah Rukh Khan-starring film is anticipated to begin in India. The Sidharth Anand-directed film is being hailed as one of the largest action spectacles ever seen by viewers in theatres. It will be released in a variety of formats, including IMAX, 4DX, D BOX, and ICE. Following Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and War (2019), it will be the fourth movie in the YRF Spy Universe.

On the other hand, based on the recent buzz around the movie, it is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on April 25, 2023. According to reports, the Delhi High Court ordered the Pathaan film team to make the necessary changes to the movie for its OTT release.

The producers were requested to provide the information by February 20 according to a report in the Bar and Bench. Additionally, it mandated that the CBFC choose by March 10. The court, however, steadfastly declined "to pass any directive in respect to the theatrical release of Pathaan."

Returning to the movie, its Saturday screening of a trailer on the Burj Khalifa, garnered media attention. In addition to attending the event in Dubai, SRK also performed his famous stance for the crowd. He raised his hands in the air and leaned to one side. One of the songs from the same movie had its hook dance done by him as well.
