Shankar And Lyca Productions Sort Out Differences. Indian 2 Shooting To Begin Soon

Director Shankar's Indian 2 is one of the most anticipated films in India. Produced by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 will feature Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Priya Bhavani Shankar in important roles. The film went through several hassles right from its inception. From Lyca accusing Shankar of overspending to Shankar cutting the budget, Indian 2 was in a deep mess. It all went down South when an unfortunate crane accident claimed the life of three technicians. After that, the Covid-19 pandemic struck India. This was the last straw for Lyca Productions as they took Shankar to court. This came after Shankar went on to sign two films without completing Indian 2.

Now, reports suggested that Subaskaran of Lyca Productions invited director Shankar and his wife for an informal meeting. They spoke for an hour and it is said that they have sorted out the differences. Also, both sides have now agreed to withdraw all the cases that have been filed as of now. Reportedly, the Indian 2 shoot will resume in the next few months. Once Kamal Haasan wraps up Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram, he will start shooting for Indian 2. Director Shankar will now be reshooting the portions as late actor Vivekh passed away earlier this year.
