Marvel's upcoming project for Disney Plus, She-Hulk has finally found itself it's a lead writer in Jessica Gao. Jessica Gao won an Emmy for penning down the Pickle Rick episode for the popular Netflix show, Rick and Morty. Gao is now at the head of the writing part of the She-Hulk project at Marvel studios.
The hiring of Gao is the first development on She-Hulk after Kevin Feige revealed it alongside MoonKnight and Ms. Marvel at the D23 Expo. Incidentally, She-Hulk is the last character that the late Stan Lee helped develop.
She-Hulk is the story of Jennifer Walters, attorney and cousin to Bruce Banner aka The Hulk. The Hulk has played by Mark Ruffalo in the Marvel films. Jennifer Walters develops her powers due to an emergency blood transfusion. However, unlike her cousin, She-Hulk is able to maintain her intelligence alongside the physique. The character first appeared in the 1980s in the Fantastic Four comics.
With Jessica Gao at the lead of its writing department, She-Hulk seems like a promising show.
