Kartik Aaryan makes his production debut with Shehzada. According to a close source of Kartik, “It wasn’t planned or anything. It is the early days for Kartik to turn producer. He has just started his career as an actor. But then, the unexpected happened. Shehzada encountered a financial crisis and if someone did not step in at that moment, the project would have been stalled.”

“After having seen such circumstances arising, it was indeed a fair decision from Kartik to step forward to rescue the project.“ Kartik offered to forgo receiving payment. The other producers then made the offer to join him as a producer, continued the source.

Kartik has joined the other producers Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, and Aman Gill in the movie as a producer. The production companies include Allu Entertainment, Haarika & Hassine Creations, and T-Series Films, which is a part of their 100-film slate. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring Allu Arjun, was remade in Hindi as Shehzada. Kriti Sanon plays the lead in the movie.

On the job front, Kartik Aaryan will appear in Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani. He also has Aashiqui 3 and Kabir Khan's untitled follow-up.
