Shikara: The new poster unveiled and features Aadil Khan and Sadia portrays their love story

Vidhu Vinod Chopra is set to bring the untold story of the Kashmiri Pandits on the big screens with his upcoming film Shikara. The film also marks his return to the director's chair after 13 years. Shikara portrays the love story of a couple caught in the string of fate. The story follows the predicament of the Kashmiri Pandits in exile in 2009 when they made to leave their homes and vacate the Kashmir Valley. Starring debutantes Aadil Khan and Sadia, the film is set to release on 7th February 2020.

The makers of the Shika released its trailer last week. Going by trailer and the value of director Vidhu Vinod Chopra films, Shikara seems like another impressive plot by the filmmaker. After having released the amazing trailer, Vidhu Vinod Chopra has recently revealed a new poster from the film that features Aadil Khan and Sadia. The new poster features Aadil Khan and Sadia. Adil Khan will act as Shiv Kumar Dhar, while Sadia plays the role of Shanti Dhar in the film. As seen in the poster, the actress is resting her head on Adil's shoulder portraying the love story between them. The background gives a faint glimpse of small tents, suggesting the Kashmiri Pandits living as refugees in exile.
