One of the films which affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic is Shekhar Kammula's directorial Love Story. Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, this film was in the final stages of its shoot when the lockdown got announced. It was initially slated for the release in summer but that didn't happen. The latest we hear is that the shoot of this film will resume only after October. The makers are planning to release it during Sankranthi next year.

According to the sources, the makers are not in a mood to resume the shoot anytime soon. As the cases are increasing with every passing day, it is quite risky to shoot films at this time. Moreover, most of the big-budget films are planning to go back floors after Dussera. That means that there will not be any big releases this year. Now, even Love Story is eyeing for a 2021 release.

This movie marks the first time collaboration of Naga Chaitanya with both Shekhar and Sai Pallavi. The director has earlier worked with Pallavi for the film Fidaa. In this movie, Naga Chaitanya appears as a dance trainer. Both the lead characters hail from rural Telangana. The actors will be speaking in the Telangana dialect in the movie. Love Story is being produced by Narayan Das Narang and Ram Mohan Rao. Pawan Ch is composing the music of it. Already, the makers have released a single called Aye Pilla and it got a terrific response from the audiences.
