Shriya Saran used to be the reigning actress of Telugu and Tamil industries during the early and mid-2000s. She acted with almost all the top heroes of South India like Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Vijay, and NTR.
After the advent of the younger generation of heroines, Shriya took a back seat. The actress got married a couple of years back and is currently staying with her husband in Spain. Shriya has quite a few projects lined up for this year and she is quite excited about all of them.
Speaking in a recent interview, she said there is no senior-junior disparity in the industry. She believes that it is hard work which eventually pays off in everyone's career. She stated that many talented actors are coming up these days and they should get encouraged as well.
Shriya also said that the introduction of OTT platforms has changed the game of entertainment. She says that a film comes with time constraints whereas, on OTT, we can portray the subjects in a more detailed episodic manner. Shriya also added that she would love to do a web series if a good script comes her way. Let's see if anyone makes a good web series script to Shriya so that we can witness her digital debut as well.
