During the Covid-19 lockdown, many anthologies in Tamil and Telugu have released on OTT platforms on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. Now, the biggest of the anthologies is all set to stream on Netflix. Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan's Navarasa, which consists of nine stories will release on Netflix on August 6. Love, laughter, anger, sorrow, courage, fear, disgust, surprise, and peace are the emotions that are communicated through nine beautiful tales. Director Rathindran Prasad is directing a film titled Inmai, which will feature two powerhouse performers Siddharth and Parvathy Thiruvothu in lead roles.
Siddharth, in a statement, said, "I was very happy and excited when Mani Ratnam and Jayandra Sir offered me ‘Inmai’. It's one of the Nine Rasas, the word means something which is not there. People's curiosity will be elevated when they hear the Word ‘Inmai’. This project ‘Navarasa’ is a step to help the film fraternity and the people involved by raising funds, who have been affected by COVID. It was an exciting experience working with the filmmaker Rathindran Prasad and Actress Parvathy Thiruvothu.” Inmai is a psychological horror film with mind-bending twists.
