Sidharth Malhotra received an invitation to Vijay Diwas Jashn 2022 and the actor met PM Modi and other dignitaries. He shared images from the occasion on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu were also in attendance as chief guests. He posted about his experience on Instagram and received praise from several of his followers.

Sidharth Malhotra debuted the trailer for his next Netflix espionage thriller Mission Majnu on the 51st Vijay Diwas. He plays a spy in the movie who will stop at nothing to further "Hindustan ki hifaazat." Rashmika Mandanna features in the film as the female lead.
The actor shared the more than-a-minute-long Mission Majnu video teaser on Twitter. The post's caption read, "Iss Majnu ke kaam Karne ka Tarika alag hai (The style of working of this Majnu is different). Presenting the Official Teaser for MISSION MAJNU Only on Netflix, 20th Jan 2023."
The Shantanu Bagchi-directed movie will start streaming on Netflix on January 20, 2023. It is based on true events. Previously, it was slated to premiere in June. Along with Sidharth and Rashmika, the movie also has prominent performances from Kumud Mishra, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, and Zakir Hussain.
Yodha, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna are other actors Sidharth has in the works. The movie has Karan Johar's backing through his label, Dharma Productions.
