Silambarasan's 'Pathu Thala' Update By Director Obeli Krishna

The makers of Silambaran's eagerly awaited action thriller movie, "Pathu Thala," had earlier announced that the movie is getting ready to be released on December 14th this year. But, the work of "Pathu Thala" had been put on hold while Silambarasan flew to the US for his father, T. Rajendar's, medical treatment. Otherwise, the movie would have been released around Diwali, but the delay in filming has forced the release date to move to December. As per the latest update by the director, Obeli Krishnan, the shoot will resume soon.

The director has now shared a picture of him with the star with a caption, "All set for Pathu Thala shoot with Bro @SilambarasanTR_ Feeling happy for the recovery of his dad." There are a lot of expectations surrounding the movie, as Simbu plays a feared don named AGR in the movie. Directed by Obeli N. Krishna, "Pathu Thala" also has Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalaiyarasan, and Soundararaja in the star cast, and Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman scores the music for the film. The film will be funded by Studio Green.
