Simbu sings single in Karthi and Rashmika's Sulthan

Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna's Sulthan has been in the making for over a year. Last year, the film was wrapped up and is currently in the post-production phase. Sulthan is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, who helmed Sivakarthikeyan's Remo. Recently, the makers of Sulthan released the film's second song titled Yaaraiyum vlo Azhaga, which is composed by duo Mervin Solomon and Vivek. The team roped in Silambarasan aka Simbu to sing the song along with Mervin.

Sharing the song, Karthi wrote on his social media page, “#YaaraiyumIvloAzhaga Some songs enable me to relax, be myself...this is one such song. I hope you guys like it. http://youtu.be/A32yLrkcQP8 #Sulthan2ndSingle @Karthi_Offl @Bakkiyaraj_k @SilambarasanTR_ @iamviveksiva @MervinJSolomon (sic)." Sulthan is produced by SR Prabhu of Dram Warrior Pictures and the film is expected to hit the theatres sometime in April. Soon, the makers will announce the final release date.
