Silambarasan aka Simbu has been surprising everybody with his commitment to work. He was last seen in Eeswaran, which was released in theatres early this year. After the release of Suseenthiran's Eeswaran, Simbu has been signing back-to-back films and is very much interested in getting back to work-life before. His fans have been celebrating the actor for signing multiple films. One of the most anticipated films of Simbu is his upcoming film Maanadu, directed by Venkat Prabhu. As reported earlier, Maanadu is a political film with a scientific time travel concept. During the Cooku With Comali finale, Simbu revealed that the concept will be told in such a way that even laymen will be able to understand. Now, there is an update on Maanadu regarding the film's release. The makers of the film confirmed that Maanadu will release in theatres on the occasion of Diwali... Maanadu is produced by Suresh Kamatchi under V House Productions. The film features Simbu, Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekar, Karunakaran and Premgi Amaren in important roles. The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
