Singer and pop icon Britney Spears has stood up in support of comedian Larry the Cable Guy. The famous American comedian whose real name is Daniel Whitney called out many Hollywood celebrities about their insensitivity towards the homeless people. Whitney particularly targeted Gal Gadot, Jimmy Falon, Natalie Portman, and Zoe Kravitz. Previously these stars among a few others shared a video of themselves singing the famous John Lenin's song Imagine.

The comedian pointed out the hypocrisy of many of these celebrities.

Whitney took to his Twitter handle on Thursday and wrote, "Here’s a message from people with a lot of possessions that can take a year off of work and not flinch telling everyone outa work to imagine a world with no possessions while people are living in the street a half-mile away from ‘em."

Now the 38-year-old singer, Miley Cyrus has also jumped in the bandwagon. Cyrus called for a general strike and wealth redistribution. Cyrus shared a quote from writer Mimi Zhu." During this time of isolation, we need connection now more than ever. Call your loved ones, write virtual love letters. Technologies like virtual communication, streaming, and broadcasting are part of our community collaboration...We will learn to kiss and hold each other through the waves of the web. We will feed each other, re-distribute (sic) wealth, strike. We will understand our own importance from the places we must stay. Communion moves beyond walls. We can still be together, " read the post.

Cyrus later captioned her post writing, "Communion moves beyond walls."
