Singer Lucky Ali apologises to Hindu brothers after a controversial Facebook post. On Tuesday, Lucky Ali posted a social media post saying that Brahmins originated from the word Abraham. This sparked a huge controversy. After this, the singer retracted the post and apologised.

 
"The name 'Brahmin' comes from Brahma,' which comes from Abraham, or Ibrahim. Brahmins are the descendants of Abraham. Alaihisalam... father of all nations. So why is everyone fighting for nothing?" is Lucky Ali's first post.
 
But there was widespread protest against this post. With this, the 64-year-old singer withdrew the post he had shared. Lucky Ali explains that he did not post to make anyone angry or upset. It was thought that everyone should be united.
 
"Dears, I understand the controversy caused by my previous post. It was not my intention to offend anyone, and I am truly sorry. My intention was to bring everyone together. But I understand how it didn't turn out the way I intended.
 
Knowing that it upset many of my Hindu brothers and sisters, I felt that I should be more conscious when using those terms. I apologise for that. I love you all," says Lucky Ali in her last post.
 
Luucky Ali is a renowned singer who is famouse for his works in Bollywood films. Other than his film works, he has also gained praises for his independent works. His songs from the 90s are still a favourite of many song lovers across the world.
