Director Anudeep found stardom with the film Jathi Ratnalu. The film created such a huge impact on how comedy films were made in Telugu from there on. With the success of this film, Anudeep bagged a golden chance of directing a film with Tamil star Siva Karthikeyan. The film is Prince and it is also ready for release this Friday.
So much is being said about this film as it has a hilarious backdrop of a Tamil guy falling for an English girl. Siva Karthikeyan has promoted the film quite aggressively in Telugu also and says that as an artist, he should break boundaries and do films in multiple languages. Adding further, he says that doing a Telugu film was always on his mind and when the chance came he lapped it up.
Prince looks more like a Tamil film rather than a Telugu project. The trailer received mixed reviews and when asked about the same, Siva says that Prince has a universal subject and the comedy can be enjoyed by any section of the audience worldwide. If the film clicks in the south, Siva says he will remake it in Hindi as well.
Narayan Das Narang, Suniel Narang, along with Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Suresh Babu, is producing the movie under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions, and Shanthi Talkies. Sonali Narang presents the film, while Thaman is the music composer. The songs did not click that much and the onus is now on director Anudeep to make this film a hit.
