Star Tamil hero Siva Karthikeyan has decent popularity in Telugu states as well. his film Remo has done a good business in Tollywood. Thus, the actor's recent film Hero is now getting dubbed into Telugu. Directed by PS Mithran, Hero is a superhero film which had hit the screen in December last year.
Hero ended up as a hit at the Kollywood box office. Thus, now the makers are planning to release it in Telugu as well. The film got titled Shakti in Telugu. The posters are out and the makers are planning to release it in February itself but the date didn't get confirmed yet.
PS Mithran's earlier film Irumbu Thirai got dubbed into Telugu as Abhimanyudu and remained as a hit at the box office. Thus, the Telugu producers are now branding Shakti in this movie. Kalyani Priyadarshan is the female lead in it. Action King Arjun has played an important role while Bollywood actor Abhay Deol essayed the role of the antagonist. This is Abhay's first film in the south. The presence of Kalyani and Arjun are also giving boost up for this film in the Telugu arena. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for it. The promotions of Shakti will kickstart soon.
