As previously reported, director-turned-actor SJ Suryah will make his OTT debut with the web series "Vadhandhi: The legend of Velonie". It will be directed by Andrew Louis, who also directed Kolaigaran. The web series first-look poster has just been unveiled by the creators. It features SJ Suryah dressed in a police uniform gazing at a dead body laying in a field next to a windmill.

It's interesting to note that actress Laila, who recently made a comeback on screen in the Karthi-starring movie Sardar, is also making her OTT debut with this series. Sanjana, Vivek Prasanna, and Nasser also have significant roles in Vadhandhi.
According to reports, the series is a gripping noir drama about the murder of a beautiful young woman. It is seen from the Rashomon-like perspectives of a relentlessly obsessed police officer, a novelist mesmerized by her grace, and an opportunistic news editor.
