Sobhita Dhulipala is prepared to make her Tollywood debut with Ponniyin Selvan, Mani Ratnam's crowning work. In her first Telugu film, she will play Vanathi.
Sobhita Dhulipala has chosen to broaden her horizons after establishing herself with web shows like Made in Heaven. The diva recently declared on her Instagram account that she will soon be entering Tollywood. The actress has been chosen to portray Vanathi in Ponniyin Selvan, Mani Ratnam's crowning advancement. The historical drama Vanathi, played by Sobhita Dhulipala, has had its first glimpse presented by the film's creators.

The film's creators have additionally unveiled the first images of Prakash Raj as Sundara Chozhar, Jayachitra as Sembiyan Maadevi, and Rahman as Madhurantakan.
The fictional novel of the same name by Kalki Krishnamurthy served as the inspiration for the plot of Ponniyin Selvan. The Chola dynasty's Rajaraja Chola I is followed throughout the novel. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play Nandini, Vikram will play Aditya Karikalan, Karthi will play Vanthiyathevan, Trisha will play Kundavai, and Jayam Ravi will play Arunmozhi Varman in the project. Along with the rest of the cast, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Lal, Kishore, Ashwin Kakumanu, and Aishwarya Lekshmi will all have important roles in the movie.
Ponniyin Selvan's music was composed by Oscar-winning composer A R Rahman and is being funded by Mani Ratnam and Allirajah Subaskaran under the Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions labels.
