Upon arriving in India from London, the couple immediately took to quarantining themselves due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Since they returned from an affected place (London), their social distancing is essential for a period of 14 days. But, the social distancing did not stop Sonam Kapoor from finding a way to interact with her mother-in-law Priya Ahuja.

Anand Ahuja took to his Instagram and uploaded stories of Sonam standing at the window of their home to talk to Priya. He captioned the video, “Quarantine times.”

Sonam also took to Instagram to share her experience of flying from London to Delhi. She focused on how both countries handled screenings of passengers amid the Coronavirus outbreak. She shared her experience with her Instagram stories. About London, she said that no screening took place when they were leaving. She added that this shocked both Anand and her.

But, the actress was all praise for the manner in which India handled passengers arriving at airports. She said. “I just want to say that it is incredible the way the authorities are handling the situation. It’s very commendable and laudable. We went to immigration, they again rechecked where we had been on our passports, which was extremely responsible. Then, Anand and I, had our gloves on and our masks on. Everybody also had their gloves and masks on. We got our luggage and we went through.”

Still, many people might not agree with the actress because reports state that India is not testing enough for the virus. Three deaths took place due to the virus so far; one in Maharashtra, one in Karnataka, and one in Delhi.
