Sonam Kapoor is undeniably the fashionista of Bollywood. The actress is best known for her impeccable fashion sense and people just love the way she carried herself. Sonam also proved to be a doll when she wears ethnic outfits. Earlier this morning, the Saawariya actress posted a picture of herself posing as Anarkali from the iconic film Mughal-E-Azaam. This picture got clicked for a magazine in the past.
Sonam looked exactly like Madhubala, the actress who originally played the role of Anarkali in the iconic film. Sonam captioned the picture as, "Pyaar kiya to darna kya (song from the film). This picture got more than 270k likes within just a few hours. A few months back, Sonam also posted another picture from this photo shoot in which her husband Anand Ahuja was also there. Even Anand looks cool in the getup of Salim. Both the couple beautifully recreated the characters of Salim and Anarkali. If any maker in Bollywood has the plans of remaking Mughal-E-Azam, he can blindly cast Anand and Sonam in the lead roles.
Sonam is currently spending her quarantine time with her husband at their home. During the early days of lockdown, they have self-isolated themselves as they just returned from London. Now, they are staying together and passing time by enjoying each other's company. Sonam is staying active on social media by posting throwback pictures from her old photoshoots. Maybe the actress just can't wait to get back to work. On the career front, Sonam was last seen in the film The Zoya Factor. She is yet to announce her next project.
