Sonam Kapoor started as a assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2005 drama Black. After that she made her debut through Bhansali's romantic drama Saawariya in the year 2007 with Ranbir Kapoor. Known in Bollywood and in media for her outspoken personality. She is also known as the most fashionable celebrities of the industry. She has a lot of films under her belt like I Hate Luv Storys, Raanjhanaa, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Neerja, Veere Di Wedding, The Zoya Factor and more. Sonam is also active on social media and recently she shared a childhood picture of herself. Through that she revealed her work for books.

In the photo, baby Sonam is lying on the bed with a book in her hand donning a printed top. She is smiling towards the camera. Beside her is Rhea Kapoor lying face down with a red bandana. She captioned the post saying, "Nothing has changed since then once a (book and worm emoji) always a bookworm."
Sister Rhea immediately commented on the post saying "I remember this duvet.". Currently Sonam is spending the lockdown with husband Anand Ahuja. She expressed her excitement at meeting her family and also celebrated her birthday with thrm on Tuesday.
On the work front, Sonam last worked in The Zoya Factor opposite South star Dulquer Salmaan. The film is based on writer Anuja Chauhan’s book by the same name.The story follows the story of an advertising executive who finds herself as a lucky charm of the Indian cricket team during world cup tournament. Her next project is Hindi remake of the popular movie Blind. She will also be a part of the sequel of Veere Di Wedding co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan.
