Due to the pandemic, the workers and labourers lost their jobs and lacked the means to return to their homes. Sonu intervened at this point. He made free arrangements for their safe return to their homes. His social work extends beyond this, though.
Sonu last appeared in the historical Samrat Prithviraj movie in Hindi, which also starred Akshay Kumar in the title role. His upcoming film appearance is in the action thriller Fateh.
