The long-awaited movie based on the famous video game franchise Uncharted has constantly been a part of one or the other issue. Earlier this week, Sony announced that it has moved some of its upcoming films to a different release date. Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg's movie Uncharted being one of them.
The film is now set to release on March 5, 2021, which is 3 months post the previous schedule. Earlier Uncharted comes in the news when it lost its director with Travis Knight quitting the position. Instead, Ruben Fleischer the director of Venom and Zombieland was in talks to direct Uncharted.
Sony also announced that it is pushing Masters of the Universe to an indefinite date. The film based around the He-Man comics and tv shows is another one of those films stuck in pre-production with not much going on behind it.
We hope at least Tom Holland's Uncharted remains safe from a similar future and releases on March 5th as planned.
