The movie derives its inspiration from GR Gopinath, an Indian entrepreneur, and former Indian Army Captain and will star South actor Suriya. The movie, directed by Sudha Kongara, is set to release in Kannada as well.
For the unversed, Gopinath was born in a small village in Hassan district, Karnataka. He joined the army and also is the founder of an airline named Air Deccan. Gopinath's life is now made eternal by this movie.
The filmmakers have already released trailers and posters of the film and the fans are very excited for the release of the film. The filmmakers have now decided to dub the movie in Kannada. This is because Kannada audiences are more likely to relate to the movie.
The cast list for the movie also includes Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal and veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu playing important roles. Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal will portray the role of an antagonist in the film.
The movie, produced under Suriya’s 2D Entertainment will have Bollywood producer Guneet Monga co-producing it. The music composition for Soorarai Pottru will be reportedly taken care of by GV Prakash Kumar.
