Superstar Rajinikanth kicked off 2019 with director Karthik Subbaraj’s Petta, which went on to rake in the moolah. Post Petta, Rajinikanth joined hands with filmmaker AR Murugadoss for his next film Darbar, which will release in January 2020.
Recently, they announced that Rajinikanth will team up with director Siruthai Siva for his upcoming film. Produced by Sun Pictures, this film marks Rajinikanth’s 168th film in his career spanning four decades in Tamil film industry.
Now, rumours say that comedian Soori has finalised to provide comic relief in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film. Earlier, Soori and Siruthai Siva has teamed up for Ajith’s Vedalam which shattered several box office records.
An official confirmation regarding Soori’s inclusion is yet to make. Also, rumours suggest that Jyothika, Keerthy Suresh and Manju Warrier are in consideration to play the female lead in Thalaivar 168.
